FRENCH STYLE ANTIQUE MANTEL CLOCK
This gorgeous gilt and patinated bronze antique clock is probably circa the first quarter of the 19th Century and of simply outstanding quality with porcelain Roman numerals. The Roman helmet is mercury gilded with a brilliant gold, clearly making it the strike point of the piece. The back of the clock is left open to expose the incredibly fine movement.
